Know exactly what to bring to your CUET 2026 exam centre — and what is strictly banned. Stay prepared, avoid disqualification.

Highly Sensitive Metal Detectors at Entry

All candidates will be subjected to compulsory frisking with metal detectors before entering the exam centre. Any banned item found = you may be denied entry or booked under Unfair Means (UFM).

Admit Card Printout

A4 size clear printout with Self-Declaration (Undertaking) duly filled in. Downloaded from the NTA website.

Must be original, valid, and non-expired — Aadhaar / E-Aadhaar / PAN / Passport / School ID / Class 12 Admit Card / Bank Passbook with photo.

Same photo as uploaded in the online application form. To be pasted on the attendance sheet in the exam room.

Simple Transparent Ball Point Pen

Only a simple, transparent ball-point pen is allowed. No gel pens, pencils, or multi-color pens.

PwD / PwBD Certificate

If claiming relaxation under PwD/PwBD category — carry the certificate issued by the authorized medical officer.

Sugar / Fruits (Diabetic Only)

Diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets or fruits like banana, apple, or orange inside the centre.

Report 2 Hours Before the Exam!

Candidates wearing religious / customary / cultural dress should report at least 2 hours before the last reporting time so enough time is available for proper frisking.

Inside the Exam Hall

Key rules to follow once you enter the exam room

Do This
  • Sit only on the seat allotted to you (Roll Number indicated)
  • Show admit card + ID on demand to invigilator
  • Paste your photo on the attendance sheet
  • Click Save & Next after every question
  • Write your name & application number on rough sheet
  • Submit rough sheet to invigilator before leaving
  • Report any technical issue to invigilator immediately
Never Do This
  • Do NOT change your seat on your own
  • Do NOT talk or communicate with other candidates
  • Do NOT use any electronic device inside the hall
  • Do NOT take rough sheet outside the exam room
  • Do NOT look at another candidate's screen
  • Do NOT submit multiple application forms
  • Do NOT arrive late — late entry is not permitted
