When you open the dashboard for the first time, a setup popup appears. Fill it in carefully — this data is used across all mocks and the leaderboard.
Type your full name. This appears on certificates, the leaderboard, and auto-fills in every mock test.
Choose a unique ID (e.g. TS2025_07). This links your results to the class database. Can't be changed easily, so choose carefully!
Pick your class (12th CBSE / CUET Dropper etc.) and optionally your college. Used for batch leaderboards.
Select all subjects you're preparing for. These appear in your target tracker and study activity section on the home page.
Click Save & Continue. You'll be taken directly to the Home dashboard. All info is stored in your browser locally.
The main home screen shows everything at a glance — your stats, rank, notices, goals, and study activity all in one screen.

The core feature of ThunderStudy. Here's the complete step-by-step flow for giving any mock test.
Navigate to 📝 Mock Tests. The subject selection page opens showing all available subjects with their chapter counts.
Select the subject you want to practice. Each subject card shows total chapters and how many you've completed.
Choose between: Chapter Mock (single chapter, 20–25 Qs), Section Mock (multi-chapter), or Full Mock (entire subject, 40–50 Qs). Full mocks give more HP!
Select the exact chapter or set number. Each is shown with its difficulty tag and your last attempt score (if any). New attempts always overwrite.
Your name auto-fills from your profile. Confirm and press Start Test ▶. The NTA-style CBT interface opens.
Click A/B/C/D to select answers. Use the question palette (right side) to jump to any question. Use Mark for Review 🔖 to flag questions to revisit.
Click Submit Test. Instant result screen shows: Score, Correct/Wrong/Skipped, XP earned, HP reward, and grade. Results auto-saved to local storage.
