A wrong answer costs you 1 mark. Skip a question if you're not sure — unattempted questions get 0, not −1.
Keep your admit card, photo ID, passport photo, and ball-point pen ready. Check your exam center location and plan your route.
Report at least 2 hours before the exam. Candidates wearing religious/customary dress must report 2 hours before last reporting time for proper frisking.
Show admit card + photo ID at entry. Find your allotted seat using your Roll Number. Do NOT sit in any other seat — this may cancel your candidature.
Login with your credentials. Verify the subject on screen matches your admit card. Read all instructions carefully on screen. If subject is wrong, immediately tell the invigilator.
Use Save & Next to save answers. Use Mark for Review if you want to revisit a question later. You can switch between questions anytime. The timer is on the top-right corner of your screen. Exam ends automatically when timer hits zero.
Hand over your rough sheet to the invigilator before leaving. Write your name and application number on top of the rough sheet. Do NOT take it outside the hall.
If you come in cultural or religious attire, report at least 2 hours before the last reporting time for proper frisking by the exam staff.
Shows status of all questions — Visited, Not Answered, Answered, Marked for Review
Always click "Save & Next" after answering a question to save your response
Mark a question to revisit later. Answered + Marked questions ARE counted for evaluation
To change an answer, click "Clear Response" and then select a new option
Exam ends automatically when the timer reaches zero. No need to submit manually
Inform invigilator immediately. A new system will be provided and lost time adjusted
Any candidate reporting after the gate closing time will NOT be allowed inside. Do not be late!
Submitting more than one application form will cancel your result. Apply only once.
Appearing from any other center — or allowing someone else to write for you — will lead to result cancellation and possible debarment up to 3 years.
Your NTA Score is valid for admission to Central Universities and other participating universities for academic year 2026-27 only.
